How Cold Should A/C Get?

I've noticed that the A/C in my 2013 X-Runner doesn't seem to get that cold. I purchased it used, so unfortunately I have no time period to compare it against. I can only compare it to other vehicles. Compared to the 2003 F-150 that I had the X-Runner A/C pales in comparison.

Does anyone know what the temperature should be when on full blast? Also, has anyone tried using the A/C refrigerant in the can with gauges that you can buy from the auto parts stores? Are they any good and worth trying?

Thanks.

you wanna put the blower at about 2 or 3 dont put it on full blast, put it to face close all the vents if possible except for the one closest to the evaporator which in our case is all the way to the right and put a thermometer in the vent wait to see it go as low as it can itll usually fluctuate because of the ac compressor kickin on and off, thats how i check it at work

Depends honestly on how hot it is outside. 50 to 60 degrees is about where I sit when it's 100 degrees outside. It's currently 78 outside and it's blowing at 50 right now.

It completely depends on the temperature of the air being supplied to the evaporator. There is usually a temperature drop value that they should be able to get to, so this changes the output air temperature depending on the supply temperature.
