It's held in place by the center console. Would not be "easy" to remove 1) because you have to remove the console & 2) because you would have to disconnect the wiring from the amplifier

You're comparing apples to oranges....while this box was made by a former member who I didn't have a good relationship with, it's much better quality than what you'll find on that website. This box and the original SubXclosure went for over $300 when they were new. You get what you pay for. That being said, it's your truck, and if it works for you that's what important.
