I just spoke to Amy and was told everyone that has contacted them has been notified that bars are in and boxed up awaiting Energy Suspension’s bushings.

For those (which is most likely everybody) that are looking for an update…I’m pretty sure the amount of grey hair I have has doubled over the course of this group buy with trying to get things finalized and out there for you all. The sway bars have been gone through and passed our QA checks. There was only one front sway bar that the powder coat was messed on from shipping. That works out perfect for us, since I needed it for our X and I’ll take the “damaged” one to ensure the ones you receive are the quality we expect. You guys have not seen tracking numbers for these yet because of a combination of things. There was an initial credit card issue when the sway bar company ran our card due to the increase in credit card fraud. Our bank was not expecting such a large purchase and declined/shut the card off even though the funds were there. Got it straightened out. Then the lady at the sway bar company thought that it was the amount they charged and proceeded to make several small charges to add up to the cost they needed. Of course that yet again shut down the card. I did not notice that at the time because the sway bars arrived at the shop. They went ahead and sent them because of our history together and knew that we were good for it once the credit card stopped shutting down. We call our wholesaler to get all of the bushings to try and get the cost down a bit while buying in bulk. Got everything rolling and did not think about it. I had an extensive command inspection at work last week (those of you military types know how much of a headache those can get). Worked late hours and pulling my hair out for a week. Questioned why the bushings aren’t here yet so we can get the kits out to you all and thought maybe it was because of this credit card nonsense. NOPE…the person that we talked to about the bushings got everything figured out…but never finalized the order. After a few sentence enhancers and flipping of a table or two later, the bushings are ACTUALLY in route to the shop now. HOPEFULLY they get here by week’s end so these kits can start heading out. More to follow.

On another note, please see the most recent post on “our” XRU page for potentially surprising news. Yes...that just happened.

You are not alone. I was told we would see them weeks ago as well and now there are other parts that never got to him to make the kit complete. Maybe while the sleep was being lost would have been a good time to tell us why our parts haven't shipped. I am not trying to be a jerk here but cmon! I have also had private conversations with Buck. I expressed these concerns with him. He apologized and at the time I was fine with it. I am not fine with it anymore because in those conversations I asked to keep communication open. That never happened. I am sorry for whatever personal issues may be going on in life, but this is unprofessional at best. I am torn between I feel for you and I don't give a %^&* anymore. Make no mistake this is about as unpleasant as it gets. Buck in speaking to you, I know you are better than this. I hope you can turn it around quickly. I am out of patience with this thing....

Buck won't say it and probably shouldn't but on behalf of the rest of us I wish y'all complaining asses would just get your money back and go away. Sure it's taking longer than expected but nobody is getting robbed here. If you couldn't afford it you shouldn't have put the money up. The net result of getting your refund back after running out of patience is the same as not participating in the group buy in first place, except the latter would be less annoying.

I’m glad you said it before I did.

I agree, some of you guys are acting like it’s the end of the world. I’ve waited 6 months for parts before. Last time the truck was wrecked I had to special order a bed side. Took two months just to find one through Toyota. Calm down.

Like I said I was unaware that it was going to take this long and im new to this forum. I can afford it and I'm not acting like it's the end of the world.

For me it isn't about the parts or the money. It's about communication, respect, expectations and professionalism. All three are absent here. There would be no conversation had there been good communication. All I'm saying is if you set an expectation and can't meet it then you have to communicate and set new expectations. If that is viewed as a complaint then you're missing the point.

Shocking...but I’m still waiting on stuff. I thought that one of our wholesale distributors was a bit more active than they are. Checking on the bushings and they say they’re on backorder. Luckily we still have an account with Energy Suspension and after explaining the situation to them, they are getting with the “boss man” and getting these expedited. Not sure what their definition of expedited is, but we shall see.

Good news is that there is a huge stack of boxes waiting to ship out...and I a bunch of stickers for you guys. It’s not officially a performance part without stickers, right?

Well that's disappointing news, BUT it is news. The weekly update is appreciated.

I've bought quite a bit of Energy Suspension stuff over the years through Summit, and has always been in stock. Hopefully ES is big enough to be able to pull in inventory quickly - either through other distributors who have it or getting it manufactured. Only need 18 sets according to your master list of who's paid up.

@BondXII You said this up above...

"After a few sentence enhancers and flipping of a table or two later, the bushings are ACTUALLY in route to the shop now. HOPEFULLY they get here by week’s end so these kits can start heading out. More to follow."

You said the above without a tracking number apparently? Now they are on back order? C'mon man! Send my set without bushings and provide the info I need to source the bushings myself. Deduct the cost of the bushings and I'll gladly go away. Please let me know if this is possible.
