Installing new clutch
Stirring the pot? I work at a dealership and the problem is rare. If his TOB was fine then i would say just replace with a new one. the only time you need to compress the spring is to disassemble the strut. took out my ss springs and installed the sos kit, basically took about ten minutes longer to do. very pleased with the sos handling and ride. i'd go with the sos unless ss got eibach to make the springs now. i got my ss...- kishxrs

at 10 bucks it aint gonna hurt your wallet. grab a broschure it explains everything from free roadside towing and flat repair to replacing a non repairable tire. probably wont hurt the motor might not help but to most people they like the peace of mind that they wont be stranded.- kishxrs

aftermarket clutch?
clutchmasters has a clutch for the 1gr in different stages. i ran the stage 3 in my other car running nitrous and had no problems. just another option.- kishxrs

installed the kit today and so far so good no noises. i think my mistake was not getting the powder coated ss coils. my painted ones were pretty rough just cut and paint. but i must say service from both vendors were top notch sittin sic and totally twisted creations.- kishxrs
