    This is a great forum. Less crazy people and more vendors contributing, makes this forum rock. Only complaint I ever had was the post requirement to shop in the "For sale" forum. But I understand why there is that rule. Bam! that was 30... Im going shopping!

    winter sucks

    Twice Ive been stuck throwing chains on my XR. Once across a mt pass and once when it dumped snow at sea level. Both times it saved my butt. Oct on I throw a set of chains in the back.

    Rearview mirror dimmer.

    Anyone know how much voltage the rearview mirror dimmer uses? I was looking at it and wondering why I need it with tinted windows. Perhaps I can use that power to patch in a radar detector? Any one done this?
