if your looking to spend some money, i would suggest getting an AR with both the .223 and .22 uppers. at least this way you can save your .223's for the zombies and go target shooting with the .22's. as far as recoil goes (if it hasn't already been said), minimal at best. a matter of fact...- HighNoon
