    Been driving the truck now for 10+ years with the TRD S/C with no issues....just turn the key and drive. When I reflashed the ecu for the s/c all those years ago the calibration ID number was 3YWG0200. Recently I found on the web that there has been 2 further releases.... 3YWG1900 and 3YWG2800...

    boosted to NA ecu swap

    Find yourself the stock injectors and a secondhand ecu. Fit the injectors and ecu then register the ecu communication ID with your transponder key ecu as per service bulletin, ref No BE-4014. Turn the key and drive away n/a with stock tune. Then sell the blower as a complete package, reflashed...

    Thanks for the welcome. When I installed the TRD S/C on my Hilux and tried to reflash the ECU I found the ID calibration number in my ECU did not match any of the numbers in the software. To get around this I used a second hand ECU out of a Tacoma which I sourced from a wrecker in the states...

    If you are worried about fuel and ignition control why not soucre a non reflashed ecu from a wrecker, register it to your vehicle and away you go, back to standard tune.
