Swapping climate control compatibility
Ive read that the all black ones for 2012 up have switched polarity and you have to do some modifications. This looks like it would plug up. But I was unsure if it was affected by polarity change. Here’s the back of this model I’m looking at: And I’ll also include the back of a 2012- x-driver21

Swapping climate control compatibility
found an 08 climate control for my 06. I’m curious if it’s plug and play or if it requires some wiring mods like the all black climate control does from the later model years. Anyone know?- x-driver21

Bought an x and it has trouble starting
good to know. The official word from the new shop is a leaky injector. I hope the are right! all the symptoms fit as well as other evidence showing that there's fuel leaking from the back left injector. New injector should be arrive in a few days. agreed man. I no mechanic, but jeez. Small update: When it is cold outside like it has been for the past week (sub 32) seems to start a lot better. Nothing like that. All factory from my understanding. Again, sadly the seller wont hit me back to verify my assumption. No remotes or anything like that. Swapped the plugs, no dice. New TRD FPR goes in Monday or Tuesday when it comes in. Had a buddy (works at Nissan) take it to a Toyota master...- x-driver21

The mechanic said it stayed good for about 5min and then dropped to 35psi and stayed there. Looked good within spec i've been told.- x-driver21

Agreed, the ghosting portion proves guilt to me. He was a well enough known member on here i believe. I hope he reaches out any day with a problem with his phone or something. the stumble portion is definitely a highlighted issue for sure. It acts the same regardless of fuel level. The truck was basically full on fuel at the time. (Last Night) btw 30min can pass and the truck will still have the extended crank but not as severe of a stumble. But again, once it starts...- x-driver21

All factory installed and a reflash is what it has. I bought it from another member on here but he’s gone ghost on me for me to figure out what’s wrong. Clearly he knew about it and knew I wouldn’t experience it on warm cranks for the test drive- x-driver21

I tried to upload a 15sec video but I’m getting an error stating the file is too large. What’s bothers me about the start up is it cranks for the extended period, and begins turning over excessively like a cold carb vehicle would for the last couple seconds before it fires up- x-driver21

Fuel pressure came back good holds 45psi My mechanic buddy has no idea anymore. I’m not a mechanic and i meant to ask him, but where is the fuel pressure regulator in relation to the location you hook up a fuel pressure gauge? If its after then it could still be the regulator. Anyone tried the faux leather wrap on interior parts?
I plan on doing faux where you did and matt black wrapping where you painted. As well as painting floor Matt’s, and wrapping the WHOLE center console including gear shift area with faux leather arm rest, matt black dome lighting area, and some dash bezels. I’m pumped. I will post photos- x-driver21
