    LS2 swap

Might be a while... I think I am going to throw another 1GR in for now and attempt the LS swap further down the road when I have more disposable income. I'm fresh out of college and just bought a house and an F150 and I have some other big items I need to buy like a 4wheeler and snowmobile and...

    LS2 swap

I'll have to do some more research it looks like. Mine sees more off road than on road though.

    LS2 swap

I do plan to keep 4wd. Mine's an off road rig. I figure I can clear into the cab easy enough for the trans and Tcase if I need to, I can't really move the diff lower though, not without messing up the front suspension geometry anyway. That was why I was optj g for the L92. It came off the 4wd...

    LS2 swap

Is there a lot of room in there for that LS2? I was thinking about doing an L92 (basically an LS3) with the 6L80 trans since my 1GR may be dead... I've got a 6 lug 4x4 so I may have some extra fitment issues...

Twin turbo Sls AMG spits fire...

I have a friend with a TRD S/C's 1st gen Tacoma that will shoot a flame out the exhaust after standing on the rev limiter for a bit and letting off the throttle.

    URD Spec-U Long Tube Headers

So what are the odds that you will have an equal length Y-pipe that will fit the 4x4's?

    How To: Lightsource HID Reverse

I was just wondering how feasible this same idea might be! haha:blurock:

    apr equal length y-pipe

I'm guessing those don't fit the 4x4's right? haha

    4.7 in a 2005 Tacoma

This guy is working on it. Link to his build thread: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-builds/23170-building-beast-54.html#post7384163 Not much info in there yet, but you could talk to him about it.

    URD Spec-U Long Tube Headers

I see. I figured you would have one and be eager to see how they perform, especially when paired up with you S/C kits:rockon:

    Prerunner transmission in xrunner

If it is the 8.4" rearend (I'm like 90% sure that it is) then it will bolt right up. Any reason you are opting for a locker over a Trutrac? Using a calibrator will be the most precise way to adjust the speedo. I know for the 4x4's, there is a speedo gear in the transfer case, but last I...

    Prerunner transmission in xrunner

They only accommodated for the tire size and intended use of each Tacoma by adjusting the ring and pinion size. For 2nd gen Tacomas: All V6's (except the x-runner) have 3.73's in the diff. All 6 lug 4 cyl's have 4.10's The 5 lug manuals have 3.31's and the autos have 3.58's (or something...

    Prerunner transmission in xrunner

The 3rd member will have 3.73 gearing (assuming it's a V6) instead of 3.15 and should bolt right up unless that Pre-runner is a TRD Offroad. The Pre-runner and the X-runner have the exact same gear ratios as well, so there is no point in swapping the tranny, unless you are wanting to go to an...

Custom Front mount turbo for sale!

Got any vids of it? By what rpm does it make the 8 psi typically? Got a pic of torque and HP curves from that dyno?

    Trutrac lsd

Yep! If one tire starts to spin the LSD will put power to the other tire. The Trutrac is very good at this too. No more one tire fires on takeoff.

    Trutrac lsd

x2! It can work for any gear ratio. The gear ratio is determined by the ring and pinion not the LSD.
