just curious, do you run either of these?
I have a custom set of grinds from Kelford. They are sold primarily through subzero motorsports. If you have a contact that has a kelford account, then it can also be possibly. Around $1400.
Taking you time to do the cam gear install, with an TRD should take between 4-6 hours, going slowly. Experienced people could probably do it in 2-3.
How hard are cams?
Did you go for more overlap/duration or just lift?
web does not list any thing most likely re grinds
The install new lobes onto the cams which you send in, then grind to your specifications.
Mark, I think we should move all of the camshaft talk from Gadget's old X-1 cam gear thread into this one.....
4 cams can not be cheap this is what I like inline motors such as my supra
whats the latest word? Im interested.
I merged posts from another thread from post #54 to #66. Let's keep the camshaft talk here.
Range is from $1200-1600. That is just cams. I paid $1275 ish for my Kelford cams.
Here is still the only place where I know that they can be purchased.
Unless you can purchase directly from Kelford? Motovicity is who mine had to go through when Darton East comminucated directly with Kelford.
Point is, there are non custom grinds available. Motovicity has part numbers. But you have to purchase them through a company which has an account with Motovicity.
that is for all the cams, and not just half of them right???
Did you look in the link?
A set of 1GR cams, is literally that. Wouldn't function to well if you only received half.
I read it, but wasn't entirely sure
So when are you buying a set?
Torspd was it a noticeable improvement? Worth the money?
