I bought a new ride over the Memorial Day week end.

2015 Chevrolet SS. A little bit of a sleeper. It's fitted with LS3 engine, Brembo brakes, paddle shifters and all of the old man conveniences that you would ever want.

152 miles and I have made my first mod. A new CAI.

I am pretty happy with it. I am still going through the break-in period, so I have not tromped on it.

Nice pick up, how much power is this putting down? Was a tune required with the cai?

I have seen a bunch of them as police cars around here. Looks like a very nice car.

Anything I kind of like gets discontinued. They are probably moving production to China. I think most of the GM line will be produced in China in the next few years.

The Pontiac G8 GT is. I traded mine when I got the x. It was such an awesome car. I made a mistake when I got rid of it. I'll post pictures of mine when I get home from work.

Coupe, you make me jealous. That has been my dream car to own ever since I heard they were going to be made, since it's pretty much an updated G8. I loved my G8. Here's a couple crappy pictures of it:

Here's a couple after I got the Firehawk paint job done:

Stock engine bay (minus engine cover):

After the Roto-Fab intake:

You're gonna love that car Coupe. They are so much fun to drive. Once you get it broken in and romp on it once you'll be hooked. Keep an eye out for tuners for it. Vector Motorsports tuned mine. If it's anything like my G8 was, they can tune both the engine and the transmission. Mine had 3 drive modes, normal, sport, and manual. Each one of those 3 modes could be tuned and adjusted seperately. I had the torque management turned off when I was in manual mode, and that big bitch would chirp the hell out of 3rd gear at 100mph. Keep in mind I hate an automatic transmission but the way that thing drove, if I went back to do it again I would stick with the auto. No throttle lag from the drive by wire, INSTANT shifts in manual mode, and after the tune you can get it to shift as hard or soft as you want. What I'm getting at here, is I absolutely LOVED my G8, and this basically being an updated version of it (the G8 was also made by Holden) I can promise you that you will love that car. I can't say enough good stuff about mine.

Gadget, if you're thinking about picking up a G8, do it! Lol that is the one car I've ever had that I truly miss.

Edit: Coupe I just realized that that's a Roto Fab intake on yours. That's awesome! I didn't know they updated their intakes for the new SS. I loved my Roto Fab but they definitely look much nicer now.
