Absolutely install cam gears with X-1

Ur allowed to install the cam sprockets without the X-1 and not harm anything but ur NOT allowed to install the X-1 WITHOUT cam sprockets. U could install the cam
Sprockets with the MAPECU2 and it will benefit from it from what I hear.

There's also been quite a few people who have left the cam
Sprockets on the truck but sold the X-1 before selling the truck.

Thanks mate, I'm still gonna try and get the X-1 in, was just getting a bit nervous as I had heard 'stories'
I guess I'll let you guys know if there is any improvement with just the sprockets on a TRD setup :top:

You have the Haltech unit. Keep it, and just add the sprockets.

Nah, the chiptorque 'Xede' is the one I have.
I'm keen to see how it goes, but I'll still put the X-1 in when I get back as I have an APR 7th injector coming

Don't get me wrong, the Xede has been good, absolutely no faults whatsoever, its just lacking in the changeable parameter department.
7 degrees on the timing and around 7% on the MAF is all it has

Honestly can't wait to get the X1 in

I would give it a shot if they had a harness for it. Honestly I stopped digging around after I heard that they do not carry a harness for easy p&p.

The Xede is a wire in job, while it wasn't too difficult, if I had of known about the X-1, that would have been my weapon of choice

Plenty of people ran them on na motors and still do. As well with the ucon.
