i think i prefer the same sound you do:rolleyez:

but, its funny how much people love to speculate. we'll have facts to talk about in time, but, until then, this i think say so stuff doesnt do much but stir people up.

I think that net means crank. I think, I'm not 100% sure

EDIT: Net Horsepower: Maximum horsepower at the flywheel, with intake and exhaust systems in place and accounting for load from auxiliary systems. This is what most automotive manufacturers publish as SAE net horsepower.

So net is the crank hp with the car's stock intake and exhaust with A/C and everything on

ok so with the stock exhaust it's probably around 280 rwhp... which is about what i predicted...so my exhaust alone should have me real close to 300 at the rear wheels... an intake alone could be enough to get me over that threshold :dontknow:

Get the trd intake it shouldn't void your warranty if they install it.

they've already said that the TRD intake is not an approved filter.
they're picky about the air quality that goes into that thing... which is understandable.

plus i wasnt impressed with what i've heard the gains are on the trd intake... somewhere in the field of zero...?

EDIT ***the STOCK filter isnt even an approved filter. they DO give you a special filter with the kit

on their scion blower, the rate it at 200 crank hp, but STOCK people are putting down 210 to the wheels. its very possible they underrated it.

yep.. new plugs too... the intercooler is right in front of the radiator... there are two big black hoses going over the top of the s/c to the intercooler.. you can see it here:

Net is the horsepower left after driving everything else off the engine, including the 20Hp it takes to drive this blower at 5 PSI at redline.

I posted this 3 months ago, but I guess not too many saw these graphs:
