Here's how I had it mounted before:

The manual wants the EVAP canister hose going to the connector side of the valve and the manifold side going to the back. I also had it plumbed to front port instead of the back port. Maybe there is a restrictor in the rear?

The above picture is the wrong orientation.

Hmm. I was thinking bypass valve this whole time.

The valve itself doesn't have a flow direction on it so I put it in as I saw fit. I didn't think it would fit the other way but it does. Also notice that I was using the wrong port on the housing. Definitely an error in my part.

Nah I verified that long ago. I'm building a solid 7.8 to 8 PSI with the 2.85" pulley.

I'm only seeing 7 psi on the same pulley....what's your exhaust setup?

TRD catback, OEM Y pipe and OEM manifolds. I am at 381' above sea level though.

3rd fillup and still no weird start. I saw a puff of smoke at the near top of 2nd and another once I let off. These are puffs, not constant streams.

Seems fine now. Next will be the AFR gauge to see how fat I'm running.

Sounds good. You have the gauge already?

Negative. It's going to be a while before I do. I have to redo everything else.
