clutch squeak returning

Gunner 05 Mine does it quite bad- think its just the tob though, it stops if you just barely press in on the clutch

double cab 09, 6Kmiles.. squeaking sound when releasing the clutch.. feels like its a rubber rubbing on something.. sprayed some silicone grease on it and it stopped for a bit.. but maybe WD40 might be better...

I had the complete assembly replaced and 1 month to the day it was back. I only have 33k on an 07.

I've either gotten used to it or listen to my music too loud to hear it. I actually forgot that my clutch pedal squeaks :laugh:

as i learned from this forum, all you gotta do is look behind the pedal, turn the shafts just a little bit and the creek/squeak is gone. the shaft turns only so much from left to right and just keeping it in the middle will keep it quiet. i can do it by hand too. takes 5 seconds.

Is there a permanent solution for this? I am out of the 3/36 warranty but I was considering just buying all the parts that the TSB replaces, I think online I found them all for a total of around $230. But some are saying the dealer performed the TSB, but the squeak came back and i'm not gonna waste my money if this is the case.

I have tried the whole "turn the knob to the center" thing and this usually works great for a few miles, but then the thing turns on its own and goes back to squeaking like hell.

The squeak comes and goes...When it comes it is really loud and annoying. Hate explaining to folks what the squeak is on a new truck.

2010, 21000miles.....all i did was rotate the shaft behind the pedal clockwise 1-2 turns and poof gone...it only happened twice and its prob been 4 months and still all g

I too have the clutch squeek problem. Very annoying! 2006 20k. Only on hot days though. Going to check it out today..:blurock:

06 with 50K and have had squeak since 25K..has gotten a lot quieter since switching fluids over to Redline and Royal Purple it seems. Gonna deal with it until clutch goes out, lol
