    hey guys
Im currently in the middle of using the DJM 3/3drop. I installed everything according to the directions and to what advice I saw on here.
I put new ball joints and new tie rods. Also new struts in the front.
Went to Sears today to get it aligned, and they told me that my steering knuckle was no good.
That I needed a dropped knuckle because I put the drop a-arms on.
They said the numbers were so off that they did not even want to touch it for alignment.
    Please any help is appreciated.

People at sears are dumb lol. I just put djm in mine and did my own alignment and was able to get everything in no problem. So u have a alignment print out showing how far off it is?

    Ok thanks
    That's what I thought

Question for those who have install djm, the two bottom bolts that hold on the lower ball joint, is there a certain way those are reinstalled? Will that affect the alignment?

Tight. Not much to get wrong there. Circle the tires with a string and set your tow with the tie rods to get front wheels square with the back. You should make sure your eccentric bolts are turning free. Alignment shops are lazy and will pass on a job if the won't turn.

When you say eccentric bolts turning free do you mean. I should have them loose for the shop

They have a tendency to seize up. But I forgot you just installed you kit so you don't have that issue. My bad.
Since you lowered it you probably have negative camber so you could pull the front eccentric in some to correct the camber if you can see the old marks. The rear bolt does the caster use it to set the distance between the front and rear wheels. The need to bee the same. Do this before you set the tow with the string.

    Thank you for the help
I just talked to a guy here at work and he showed me how to adjust the toe.
And referred me to a shop in San Antonio that specializes in lowered or lifted trucks alignments.

I will post pictures soon so you guys can see the new truck.
    Thanks for the help

Wouldn't be able to put the djm arms on if eccentrics were frozen.

    Here's another question
In the kit I did not receive the two pinion angle shims, but directions call that I installed them between the blocks and that leaf springs. So I bought them on eBay and install them on the kit.
Did y'all install those on your drop?

Find a shop with a laser alignment rack it cost per hr but the results are more precise, a lil negative camber is ok

4.25 total. I did that and axle was hitting frame with low profile bump stops.

yeh id say look for another shop that could do your alignment. i went to a shop that a member (irunnit) went to , i have the same set up djm 3/4 as him but they said they cudnt do my truck but managed to do his..so id say search.. theres some who will do it, go to a performance shop that likely deals with lowered vehicles, .. not sure why you need the shim for the 3" block you have unless that block isnt tapered. my 4" is tapered for the correct angle so no need for shims... . in the near future im goin to go with 3" blocks... good luck ! keep us posted
