ECU question

Up to what year can the X-1/UCON can be used in an FJ Cruiser? I know with Tacos it's only up to 2008.
Looks like I'm getting pushed from everyone I know to sell my truck and get something that can seat 3 kids in the back. It's paid off and we already have a brand be Camry but I keep getting asked "what if" questions which I personally can't stand. "What if" u HAVE to drive all 5 members of the family and all u have is the XRunner? Blah blah blah!

If I stay with a 2005-08 4dr 4wd taco or 2007+FJ I can keep my blower and most goodies for goin fast. My wife likes the FJ and I saw one that was all army green which I really liked but I've always been into goin fast and taking corners......I really want a SRT8 Magnum

Before deciding on an FJ, go test drive some 4th gen 4Runners, 2003-2009.

It is the same drive line as the FJ as well as the suspension. The frame is the same until it passes the rear axle.

I like the 4Runner much better and it is worth a look.

Well said!!!!!.....There u go John u can put everything right over....ive heard alot of bad things of the TomTom one. Get the Urban Runner that sht is dope.

They are not hard to find at all. Just look for them at the gas pumps....

I really don't, I can go days if not a week or so with no boost. My combined 70 highway and 30 city nets me around 270 miles a tank. Lately it's been all city and its well under 250 miles a tank

Worst I've seen is 10mpg pre blower

Youve been quite sarcastic lately.... pump gas= gas , not E85, race fuel, jet fuel, jet a, jp-5, jp-8, hydrogen,propane, alcohol and on and on it goes.

i agree. i do like the fj, but i would take a 4runner all day anyday over one. 03-09, preferably 06-09 cause that was the revision years.
