I have been into R/C's on and off since the 80's.

I started with Tamiya models:
Sand Scorcher (also have the Rough Rider body for it),
Porsche 956 RM. Mk. 5, and
Vanessa's Lunch Box.
I still have all of them!

In 2003(?) I got an E-Maxx 3906. Ran it for a few years and life got busy.
Put it in it's bin and it's been there for about 8 years!

Earlier this year I bought my son a LaTrax Teton. Once we started playing with it
the R/C bug came back.

About a month ago I got a Mini E-Revo VXL.

Current mods:

Proline Baja Bug Body
Proline Dirt Hawgs with Titus Beadloc 2.2 (yes... I've re-geared for it)
ONFA 1/10 Scale Downforce Wing
GTR Shocks with 80W Oil
Tan Springs up front and Black out back
Hot-Racing Sway Bars
Traxxas Aluminum Turnbuckles and Tie Rods
Steel Hollow Balls
Integy Motor and Motor Mount Heat Sink
Hot Racing Steering Knuckles
T-Bone Racing 4pc Chassis Brace
RPM 1/10 Slash Front Bumper
SPC LiPO 2S Batteries
Benchmark Power Supply
Junsi iCharger 206B

That's all for now... I think.

Mods I have the parts for but haven't started/completed yet:

Different body and mount for the heck of it
6 3mm LED Light Kit for the RPM Slash Front Bumper and Brake Lights
TA 21141 Shim Kits (still need to break it down and do this!)

Current RTRs are fun, but I miss the actual building of the kits...
I guess that's what repairs and upgrades are for!

I just changed the look of my car.

[IMG][/IMG] Eh, you get the gist even though the quality sucks... I had a few of these once before and sold them, now I'm just plotting what to do with them aesthetically... I've always replaced bodies due to damage. Bash city... I have been wanting a kyosho or a tamiya for a while, maybe even a buggy. I feel your pain Steve.:crinklehair:

Nice cars Steve. I had a Tamiya Frog when I was in high school. That R/C car was Great Fun! That little car took on everything I drove it through and asked for more.

Long time no see Donnie. Glad to know you're still checking in on XRU.

I wish I had more guys around here who have R/C cars. Not as fun just bashing by myself in my front yard.

Maybe it's time to get an HPI drift car and play in our Church's social hall!

I almost got the Frog back in the day as well. My friend had one and it was a lot of fun.
That was the one with the balloon in it right?

Back then I had the Tamiya Sand Scorcher (with spare Rough Rider body).
I still have it, but the electronics in it were gutted and are still in the Lunch Box.

Yeah, i still poke in and about every now and then to check on some of the old friends... Miss my truck, but I didn't wander too far from the taco. I really want to try out a drifter but don't have a location close enough for me to spend the dough. I haven't decided if I want a wall queen.

You have a great memory Steve. I totally forgot about the balloon that covered the speed controller. I damaged the original one so my Dad said just use a real balloon, it worked just the same. I used to run that R/C so hard but it never gave up.

Got tired of E-Maxx 3906-Wide A-Arm looking like a bus for the last 10+ years:

I saw the JConcepts BAJR body and decided it was time to change.

I introduce to you the P40B WarHawk inspired...

Siiiiick.
I've got a Revo 3.3, a Jato 3.3 and an old T-Maxx collecting dust. I need to get them out again.
I've been eyeballing one of the Brushless E-Revo but other things are stealing the money for it.

How did the trip to the lake go? If I had a lake close by, I'd probably have a Spartan as well!

Took some low light shots today:
