welcome to xru, the new addiction!!!.. purple rims would be nicer and aggressive. Pink would be kinda girlie girlie. Depends what look you are looking for though... better yet! have someone photoshop it both colors purple and pink and see if you like how it looks on the x photoshop to include the macthing grill color you mention.

Before you start doing stuff to your X think about where you want it to end up. If you are going to powdercoat the rims might as well do them at the same time as the grill. This way you know they will match. Also, you can paint the inside of ur headlights to match them if you want. I would go with a deep purple with with a pink pearl over it. So that it wont stand out too much but when the light hits the pearl pink it will flash. Just my thoughts on it.
