**** For those that have an iPhone or iPod Touch and come across any great Apps, PLEASE post them here for others to try. Especially if the App cost money, it would be nice to get some reviews from fellow XRU brothers before anyone wastes money ****

For those of you that have not checked this out, either at their website or on your iPod or iPhone, you need to. This really is an awesome service! Here's how it works:

You input a name of one of your favorite artists - say Rage Against the Machine. Then Pandora will create a dynamic radio feedback of that artist and similar artists. As they play your can thumbs up or thumbs down them and based on your continued selections it modifies the feed.

Badass service! Check it out at www.pandora.com or in the App Store on your iPiece.

it sounds kind of skeptical. don't know if it actually reads correctly. i'm sure it works to some extent but in no way could it give you accurate hp/tq readings. as far as the programming for g-force and mph. that would be easier to factor in. i'll give it a try. will let keep you guys informed on how it works and will post pics 2 show results.

How can this thing literally give you a true RWHP reading!! And this "Due to the unique hardware integrated into the iPhone, this can all be done with no setup, wires, or extra equipment!". how can this be?

---Apple has to be pretty ballzy to back this unless of course it is for real. In that case, im going down to At&t. Maybe one of you guys and take your iphone to the strip with you tomorrow night and test this app out?

I doubt that you could honestly say that it is accurate. But the iPhone/iPod has some sort of gyro-type device in it. That's how it knows when you tilt it a certain way to change the screen display. They are using this "gyro" to make these calculations. But like I said, I hardly think that it would be accurate.

    Cool idea tho.

There site do claim it to be pretty accurate and i just finished reading some of the reviews that people have left in the app store about it and there all saying thats it's way more accurate than they thought it would be. My D3 does the g-readings so i can compare the two and see what i come up with. I mean hell, 13 bucks and you got yourself something to keep you entertained at-least.

Its an accelerometer that detects a forward backward movement and the amount of force,(I used to do the CAD designs for an aerospace company), and the value that correlates with the rate of acceleration then spits out a number.

G-Tech has done this for years, they were pretty accurate, within like 5% of a real chassis dyno. So $12.99 for something with no wires and is pretty accurate is a good deal. I was checking it out for my touch earlier.

true that stevenredx. i just think K2 and myself; are having a hard time seeing this program do all of those reading that accurately. if that was the case everyone with dynos would be swapping those out for some iphones. i do agree with you that this $13 program would/will be fun to play around with. in no way am i hating on the fact that apple made a dyno-prog. that can be runned on the phone, cause who else can say they can do that. just don't know if it is as accurate as people so it is. i'm going 2 give it a try just for sh*ts and giggles. let me know how yours turns out bro.

I think it was said to be as close to .08 seconds in accuracy when accelerating 0-60... hell, I can do that in my head, haha. But I may have to get this and just see what it's like. It's only 13 bucks, that's nothing.
