Just installed the QA1's tonight after a year of having the drop only.

18 QA1
1.75" xii front drop springs / 2.25" composite rear leaf springs
6 DD

Thinking about dialing it down to see how soft the ride gets.

I need to get some QA1s

Driving around without them is going to give me back problems lol

They will be my first mod of this year

Just installed my QA1s a few weeks ago. I've been riding around on a setting 10 on my 18 setting schocks and see no reason to change. A great combination of stiffness an ride.

Without a doubt, one of the best mods I've done to the X. The stock shocks were crap. I bottomed out on the slightest dip in the road with just one passenger. Had 4 people in the X the other day and I was hauling a crib and a dresser and it did not bottom out at all.

When I get these for my prerunner, I like the ride kinda soft. Any idea what y'all think would be best?

Think there is going to be a New Years sale. Best to email them. That's what I did. They usually respond within a day.

I would start off with a 6.

It takes maybe 2 minutes to adjust these, so it won't take you long to get it zeroed into your butt's comfort zone.

I new to suspension... How do I test it, and know? Is it one of these slap it on, drive, and when the magical number is selected I'll just know it?

Just bumping a thread for informative reasons:

18 QA1
1.75" Sittin' Sic drop springs w/ new bilsteins
2" Blocks, factory leaf springs/shackles
Caltracs Traction Bars
6 for now.

I went from having factory bilsteins on and what a huge difference.
