I'm going to the track tonight its been a long enough wait ill post my slips and vids here
Dude. Shouldn't this be in the Street section instead?
Low 13's. I say 13.26.
I say mid to high 13's
you guys wont believe this but not even close you cant even base my truck off of the numbers i put down let me explain the track well first off you roll when you go to line up out of the light box also there is a speed bump and minimal braking distance at the end of our track! im uploading the slips
look at this trap speed there is no one im this froum trapping speeds like that with an x except gadget i see lol
Minus elevation and bad track I will easily make 12's at stage 3 with a seventh injector this was done on street tires and herrendous track conditions at 3500ft elevation! also before i put the mk3 on i would do 16.1 1/4 at this track
that is sick man! i want an MKIII!
My transam did 12.8 @ 108 on street tires so with traction and a better track you should be making a 12.6 pass or close to it.
1/4 mile times are all about the launch.
I have had trap speeds nearing 112, but crappy times all due to the launch.
With that trap speed you have the power, you just need to get better our of the hole. That is where I totally suck. The one, and only one, very good launch I have had my belt came off down the track. Figures.
Driver mod ftw sorry about the crappy track bro
Wow...to trap that kinda mph but get that e.t. probably hurts the ego but it's also a testament to what your truck is capable of. I'm anxious to see what it'll do in better conditions with a good launch. Try some different methods and see what works best for your truck and the track and it'll come together I'm sure.
There is always Texfest ' 11
dude the reason your not getting good times or rather times that a NA X would get is your 60' if you can get that around 2secs you will see yourself in the mid-low 13's easily. now you got your truck fast time to make yourself fast and learn to drive that beast!!!
Alright I will say it again the reason the times are crappy is the mix of the track and elevation the track is never prepped right if you guys saw this thing youwouldnt believe how terrible it is!
Do I hear Phoenix track meet? :top:
Um yes I think that is exactly what I was thinking:top:
This track sucks!
awesome trap speeds! No doubt the mk3 makes more power than a trd with bolt ons
You need more traction. Tire set up is way too small for that much power. Or try some DR's
Yes I do I'm working on that right now also that was on street tires imagine drag tires woo
Ok well I had been talking to Christ denied have been talking about the pilot shaft seal leak in the back of the tranny I'm having it fix3d now also getting the tsb done for the squeak I have the tsk 45 but dont trust the fork in there so that's the news
Ok here is the vid from tye track and you can tell how shit this track is prepped I spin from 2nd to third at like 75
And the vid where I trap 110.34
Must be some of that El Paso dust all over the track....lol
