question about a code

Well I've had my XR for just over a year and I saw the check engine light for the first time last night. Stop by advanced auto and had em plug in and it says banks 1 and 2 are lean. I installed URD TCAI and JBA cat back in December, I'm guessing its time for a MAF CAL to fix the problem? Any input would be greatly appreciated

Could be an O2 sensor going bad.

I had that code come up once. I cleared it and waited for it to come back but it never did. :dontknow:

It's probably something else..... If the engine light came on 8 months after the stuff was installed..

look else where

Like mentioned reset the cel and see what happens

Check for vacuum leaks.

Spraying starter fluid around hose connections and listenning for your engine to audibly change (as it sucks in the highly flamable fluid from the leak source)
