Works been cutting into my time so haven't been able to do anything. I did however have time to buy some gauges.

I need a few couplers and elbows for my ic piping and a maf adapter. Gotta call g for my fuel pump for a different shipping option since FedEx charges an arm n leg to hawaii when USPS is like 1/4th of the costs. From the top of my head that's all I can think of. My big one is the ems which will be ordered by January since my wife agreed to pay for it for our anniversary. She's freakin awesome lol.

I do want to get everything installed and running on the stock Ecu hopefully before the year ends. That's my goal at the moment. And once the ems comes in, I can slap the injectors on and get it tuned.

Hey tor, u happen to know what psi the stock Ecu can handle safely?

"Safely"is rather the loose term in this scenario. Lol. You can take out the wastegate spring and drive all day everyday, with the turbo installed. Will work just fine in the stock ecu without problem.

The issue here, is that you have quite the large turbo. SIK X had a small turbo when he ran 5psi on stock injectors, Aeromotive Stealth 340lph pump, and stock ecu w/FPR mod. That wasn't necessarily "safe" either, but his AFRs stayed rich and he drove it like that until he had his AEM installed.

Your turbo should flows way more than his did. That scares me, if you try to run without having the w/g spring removed or staying out of boost.

You could however probably get away with a 3psi spring, IF you have one, and IF you do so knowing that you run the risk of having potential problems.

Actually I do have a 3psi spring. I just want it to be safe till I get the ems so I guess I'll keep the spring out. Thanks for the info

Ooooooh yeahhhh. Cometic head gaskets and arp head studs.

These came in today which I totally forgot about. Got a good deal on these that was hard to pass up. This project is still on the back burner until I get the turbo installed and tune. Then the funds can go to the motor build.

So after tackling the trans line issue i found that it was hard aluminum and not steel. I was able to bend it it closer to the transmission about and an inch and a half or so I'm hoping it will clear. From the previous photos it looks like it will but if not then ill just use a rubber Mallot to bend it more. Will do a test fit of the headers again on weds. Photos to come soon. Stay tuned....

Wow good find on that part. You're always on the look out. Thanks bro. I hope it clears too. But if it doesn't ill just use compression fittings(now knowing that the existing is aluminum) and soft aluminum line to make it work. Will find out Wednesday.

Indeed bro! Should be tuned by February.

As for updates, I redid the bolting up the headers and they clear the lines! I forgot to take pics but I'll make up for it. Truck will be going through the installation process this Saturday and throughout the week....

But for now I ended up dipping my stocks...
