She thinks it's all a waste of money but she knows it's my think.. she gets her shoes and I get my cars ... even trade lol.. I'll swing by soon Mark..

    Just ordered
    http://www.saxonpc.com/120mm-airflow-honeycomb-without-hous120.html

For $12 shipped can't go wrong... I'll trim it to fit .. my straightener now is just for trouble shooting...

After that I'll get the exhaust fixed up and then put in my 550cc injectors

OK I found an app that works... finally...

I don't have any pics of the actual part I made but you get the idea from the pictures... The picture of the coupler is screen on one tube then the fin section between the two tubes and screen on the other one...

    Pretty damn slick, dude.

1GRracer is down as well. In preparation for this weekend's race. I know he'd like to check it out and get a ride too. :)

Well airflow straightener material came in today. .. and to my suprise they sent me a free sample along with the one I ordered!!!

It came in a 96mm square. . I cut it to the size of my tube in a way it would not crush... Took a few tried but it was super easy... tonight I'm going to take out the maf tube and glue in the straightener. ..

What looks ghetto? That little tube was just to size it up the straightener.. it's now installed in the tube that the maf is in..

The screens and plastic fins was ghetto but that was simply for trouble shooting the air flow

I was talking about the straightener material. It looks like it blocks airflow 100% and the circular cut on it is not exactly precise. I wouldnt glue that into my intake...Im sure it would get sucked into the engine

That would be akin to saying that cats block flow 100%, would it not? ;)

The pic was taken at an angle so you could see the material. It is 1/4" honeycomb aluminum the holes are not small.. here is a pic of the 3/16" sample they sent me.. When the camera hits it just right you can hardly see it... If anything the window screen would block it 100% before this woiluld...

I believe mark is running similar material with smaller holes in his set up.. and Travis was running what looked to be 1/16 in the maf tube he sent me..

ok I see now how it was just the angle of that original pic...still though Idno about it. I would prefer the kind that URD uses that are welded in place. Actually I thought Mark had one of those too!

Not much on the build for the truck since she is gone and missed :( trying to keep my hands off my jetta for now so i have to stay busy

This is some stuff that has been keeping me busy lately

I made this lamp using few parts laying around and a few purchased.. Im thinking of making a few and selling (without the 5.0 plate) this lamp was a bday gift for a friend who is a mustang guy...

I did a spark plug change on my wifes hemi and had 16 fliping spark plugs laying around so i dug into my "junk" wrenches and busted out the torch and bent them and made a coat rack with a key holder.. The spark plugs hold the keys perfectly.. This is a nother gift for a friend who he and his wife are car peps.. They have a lot of cool old car stuff in there house, so this willbe right at home.. This project cost me $0.00 to make only a few hours if my time...

This i found this unfinished solid wood table at goodwill for 24.99 .. It had some cheap legs which i took off.. Gave it a good sand, wet sand, sand. Put a good stain on it and got the clear on it yesterday (no pic yet) this will find a home in our house as our pub style kitchen table.. I need to get a center leg for it. I might use one of my old VW wheels for the base

On the chopping block to come will my two flywheel end tables, a car part reading style lamp and some other stuff

I love it when a manufacturer updates prices then a dealer forgets to update their site... I copied my post from the vw form

My parts come in Monday :) I know y'all will enjoy this long story short I'm trying to order factory lowering springs...

Ok so spring set not in stock... But ordered the spoiler and front valance... Story on that!!!! I made a post about how the price went up a lot on these parts... Browsing I found these parts local for dirt cheap!! I didn't call for that reason.. I go to the parts counter and gave him the part numbers.. His updated computer said $380.60 for the spoiler and $480.00 for the valance... He looked and looked and looked.. Went to his manager for about 10 mins.. Came back and said there was an error and it was in my favor since the price was on line...
    Spoiler $70.31
    Valance $88.11
