Looking to get a production run going for the T-56 conversion kit. Anyone interested?
what would the kit include? bell housing, drive shaft, mounts, etc?
Isn't this already out:hmmmm2:
maybe he is thinking of a GB? lol not so sure too many people would be interested in it since the cost is high, but well worth it. we all know we want it done but not all of us are rich.

Yeah... I could afford it but to me it's completely pointless to dump all that money into something that shouldn't have a problem in the first place
No, it isn't already out. The first run was made and that was it. THis is a second run. If 5 more people are interested, then it will be made again.
I am down for a round two kit.
Doesn't come with a driveshaft, clutch, shift ball. Comes with bellhousing, wire harness, and a few other things. One of the members with the first kit can answer the rest.
What is the approximate price? Thanks
I'll call APR and get an exact price for you. I'm ready to order along with Torspd. All we need now is three more buyers to start another production run!
This is what the original kit consisted of. May be some changes made round 2 but this will give you an idea of whats included.
Thank you sir.
Damn, I didn't realize how much one gets. They even thought of the speedometer conversion kit. I want this but I have two bills I have to pay within the next couple of months. I really could use this right now while I have time to install it.
This might be your only chance to get a kit if we get enough people. So far, we have two that are ready to buy.
if we can get a cost on this I will be interested in one
I don't know what the cost will be if he runs another group of them. I can tell you I paid about $1800 for those parts listed. I also opted for the APR custom short shifter which I think was an additional $300.
I highly recommend doing this if you can. Its so much better than the stock POS. And upgraded parts for the T56 are readily available and very affordable.
I know the original thread had most all the info but is there an actual how to that goes over the whole process step by step w/o all the conversation in between
install how to? If you can change a clutch you can swap the trans....
how much is a t56 trans to go along with this conversion kit
$500 - $2800 i would say.... that's all dependent on what you find and what you want.
Don't forget you will also have to get different gears for the rear end.
Didnt think it was that easy, thought there was more modifying that had to be done.
I think I will be shopping around for a T56...
