Looking for a retractable tonneau cover. I don't want anything that snaps on. I am possibly interested in fiberglass ones as well. Let me know what you got?

    Thanks

Let me know what your MPG's look like after you get a tonneau installed, I heard that it drops pretty good but that's just word.

Didn't get a single mpg improvement with my fiberglass tonneau cover on my last X and the silverado hasn't improved with the soft roll up.

I just heard it goes down after putting one on cause it messes with the wind tunnel effect that happens in the bed or some scientific thing like that, but who knows if it really affects anything.

I dont do a lot of highway miles and bet this would be the only time you would see an improvement but mostly city driving you can forget it, science doesn't work there!

They proved on Mythbusters that opening the tailgate reduces mpg because it creates drag below the tailgate and eliminates the vortex behind the cab. However removing the tailgate all together increased MPG.

As for the tonneau I did a test when I went out to Buffalo to pick mine up. I did an entire MPG better on the return trip.

Haha that's what I was trying to reference but didn't know that removing the tailgate altogether actually improved it, so if the tonneau helps then hell I'll probably snag one too.
