I took the X out to the high speed high banks at the Charlotte speedway last Friday with the SCCA. I had an hour and 20 min. of track time, the speed and G-force was amazing at this track! https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=HFb-FjvsQ20
They had a chicane in the back stretch to slow us down. Still managed to hit 130 in turn four. I would like to have more seat time to get used to the speed and the 2 plus g's( g-force) from the r-comp tires and the high banking, the last session I was running out gas in the turns (my gauge showed dead between 1/4 and 1/2 when I went out) and could not get a better top speed.
Yea I ended up with two lean codes and a throttle malfunction code. I need to change things to run at that track again.
That looked like a blast. They have the same setup at texas motor speedway. 130 mph is pretty fast for a truck.
Never saw that last picture autobodyx, until today. Damn you were bookin' it! What's the next event that you'll be attending? Also, I know they are on the expensive side, but they are extremely nice pieces. Have you seen the fuel surge tanks (FSG's) from Radium?
