Is it the same clutch as the FJ?
I believe its not, its the same as the land cruiser 2008+ manual 5 speed
There is the problem.
We do not get the LC with the manual here in North America so I still have no idea what clutch is used.
I am sure it is one I already have on the shelf, just don't know which one.
I am gonna ask for some pics on Saudi forums, since 90% of population there own the same car as mine )
will keep u updated
Reading this thread hurts my brain.
Was at the dealer, and the block, pistons, and rods were f"""ed up so bad! sand and mud went into engine, I remember I had stock air intake when I played in the mud before few months!
Oh snap man...sorry to hear..hope they fix it for ya.
They are going to fix it but, the problem is that the warranty might not cover it :/ its gonna cost me alottttt!! if I have to pay, then I am going to just throw a Shafiroff LS1 or LS2 on it hehe
same same like this
Thats sounds like a good idea.
"Got sand in places I didn't even know existed," is the expression that comes to mind. One tiny piece of sand can can wreak havok on precision components. I can imagine what your cylinder walls must look like.
Makes me think that the oil film was creating a good enough seal during the compression test, that it seemed ok. And if they had done a leak down test, they would have noticed that the pressure didn't stay.
according to my friend, its R150F gearbox
but im not sure!
How much should I expect to pay for a new trd unit?
3800$-4250& w/ fit kit. Does not include the reflash or install.
I still need a pressure plate and clutch disc and I can do clutch assemblies for it.
