Without the spare, will I have an endless tire-pressure light

I have sold my spare tire, as I run a much larger wheel and tire combo now. I also carry a small pump and plug kit, so I have no real need for it, or the additional 60lbs.

is this going to affect my tire light, or can I just reset it with just the 4 sensors.

thanks

good question, as far as I know all 5 tires have the TPMS on them so it might mess with it, but I dont know for sure.

You will have a light... all 5 sensors must be present. :top:

Will you loose traction because of the loss of weight in the rear?
Was wondering about this before. I was thinking of getting run flats.

Id assume you could have toyota deactivate that one sensor by removing its RFID from the computer?

Mine been hooked up like that for a while now...works perfect:top:

yup, works on mine too for the last year... and I switched it back for the winter since I'm rolling on the stockers with winter tires... to cold to check the pressures every gas stop... I'll let the sensors do the work...

I took my spare off several times and the light never went off

and yes the light does work...I have had a flat before, and Ive seen the light go off when I let pressure out for the track

so yea...MY spare can be removed without getting a light...not sure why though:dontknow:
