    X-Fest East 2013 was AWESOME!

I first want to thank every single one of you for making the trip to Wisp. For those of you who I met for the first time it was an absolute pleasure and to those who came back it was great to see your familiar faces. These events are such a success because of the dedicated members who make the long drive to them.

Secondly I need to thank our overly generous vendors. Your continued support is greatly appreciated. We had a ton of incredible prizes donated and by the amount of raffle tickets that were purchased it was evident that they were highly desirable items.

    Cliffs Notes of the event:

    Friday

    • Most roll in before 6
    • Couple games of Cornhole and a "few" adult beverages
    • Brian "plays golf" to rent a golf cart to tool around the resort
    • Great dinner at DC's loft.
      • Everyone "formally" meets Brian (he's kind of a big deal!) .
      • I lose my sunglasses :motz:
    • Travis and Justin break the elevator
    • Nightcap on the patio with a "few" more adult beverages.
    Saturday

    • The rest roll in
    • Show-N-Shine (Congrats VaBchXrunner and Revobreaker)
    • Mountain Coaster
    • White Water Rafting or Jet Ski rentals
      • I'm still feeling it from rafting, WHAT A BLAST!!
    • Cruise and Photoshoots :driver:
    • Dinner at Mountain State Brewing Company (manager massacre narrowly averted)
    • Epic Go-Carting session
      • I'm the Pink Cart blocking champ :effyou:
      • Gadget's story ends with the guy in front of him in the wall
    • Annual Raffle
    • Murderface Toast
    • Nightcap on the patio.
      • Paul does his best impression of "Toyooooota" Guy
        • Bwwapapapapapapapapap
    • Paul's truck gets decorated
    Sunday

    • Breakfast at DC's
      • I find my sunglasses :blurock:
    • Paul finds his "pretty" truck :doah:
    • Roll-Out :burnout2:
I'd love it if you guys can use this thread to help fill in the blanks. I'm sure I left out a TON of great moments. I truly hope everyone had as much fun as I did. I know we crammed a lot into Saturday but I feel like it was all worth while. This may have been my favorite X-Fest to date! XFE 2014 can't come soon enough.

Tks for a great week-end. You guys did a fabulous job at setting up everything. That was the best B-day week end I ever had. I can say tks to Gadget for the new headers he gave for the draw. Hope I can install them this week.

I had great time this year - and have to agree with Matt that this was probably one of the best X-Fest's to date. Lots of fun and things to do, great people, good food & beer, awesome trucks, no cops :D & no crashes. I think that go-karting was the most fun I've ever had karting on the not-so-fast karts. I hadn't laughed that hard in a while.

Thanks to Matt for all the hard work putting the event together and running things. It was nice to attend an X-Fest truly as an attendee; I could get used to it. Also thanks to Matt for pointing out the creaking sound on my passenger side front wheel which ended up being loose lugs (could've made for an exciting drive home).

This event was an awesome example of the XRU community. We all arrived Friday and by Sunday I felt like I had known some of you forever whom I'd never met before. I really look forward to doing it again soon! X-FEST 2014 BABY!
