X parts fitment on 4cyl taco

My bro in law needs new shocks and springs. I have a set of stock shocks off the x laying around as well as a set of springs. He was asking me if they would fit on his 4 cylinder taco 2008. I'm unsure So i thought I'd ask.

im sure they would since the X is based off of the 4 cyl set up (brakes and spindles)

I think the X struts will lower his truck they should bolt up fine
