Just wondering if anyone is running a staggered wheel setup on there X, meaning having a wider wheel in the rear. I think it would fit the body lines well.

Here's a pic of my GTI for a reference. Notice how the rear wheels dish more and match the fender line.

I know there are a few people who are running 9's in the front and 10's in the back. I plan on doing the same when I get my new wheels and tires.

But that GTI is fwd?

True. This was stricktly for asthetics on the GTI. I've changed my wheels a few times since then. But I do like the way the staggered looked, and I think if done right would look the nannerz on an X.

It might be good for the street or drag strip but for road racing you have to make sure the center patch of the tires are lined up front and back or handling will suffer and adjustements would have to be made.
