You guys happen to know if the LSD from the xrunners and the LSD in the Tacoma sport are the same? I just picked up a rear end off an 07 sport Tacoma that has an LSD on it. Will be switching it out with the one I have on there nowadays would like to do this mod if compatible.

Came from a 2007. I spun it to make sure it's a true LSD and both sides spin in the same direction.

you may have to swap the lsd unit out since I figure it will have different gear ratio

I just pulled apart my diff to re shim the clutch pack and it brought it right back to new. I'd like to get one of he helper springs you got to give it a little more bite. But I'm supper happy to be spinning two tires again!! It really wasn't that hard or time consuming to do either

A tip to anyone pulling their rear diff out use a bar or peddle depressor against the seat to push the brake peddle down a bit. That will close off the ports in the master and stop all your brake fluid from ending up on the floor without having to crush your flex lines.

I have installed that kit she is nasty as hell very aggressive for a truck's light rear end

was not to bad in the supra thou

but to answer you questions yes it's the same pretty much

simply put it's a drift diff or a truck with big tires

just went auto crossing on Sunday and the diff worked out so well in the dry this is my first really dry event that I got to push the truck

stage one is what I recommend

Still no point the stage 1 will still grab just as good at stage 2 it's a clucht pack it's a 2 way lsd factory so there is no delay in lock up

It's not a torsen or viscous so no need to worry she will always go straight pending on tire pressure being =

Well I'm done with the LSD. Just gotta put it back in the rear end and slide the axels back in. Wasn't as bad as I figured. My plates pretty much had no coating left to get off so. It's nice an tight now. Only advice I can give to make it Easyer is to make sure u line up the spring plate pins. Them sum b are tricky as f. That's the only thing I ran into that gave me a hard time. I broke one side of the long ones. Had to knock it out and replace it. But in the end everything came out good. I can't wait to get it back together. Two side by side black marks can't wait
