I am going to order a trac bar. It is Calvert racing or bud built/ URD. I am leaning towards the caltracs due to the fact I raw dog the skinny pedal, and they have made then for high power dragsters. What are yalls opinion? How did the ride change, and how much was axle wrap prevented? Also I heard the caltracs are a bit much for a daily driver? What's that mean? The price difference isn't that much, and I want the best for hard acceleration from a dig and from a roll. I have the pre-runner drop kit from tundra racing, so will both fit?

Urd trac bars are best. Caltracs work great but take up space gives u something to drag off if ur too low. Urd don't hang down lower than anything else on the truck. I made my own buts it's the same style as urd.

I'm not that low, but I want the best for flat out raw dog driving.. And caltrac looks really good

what makes them look so good besides being cheaper as you stated in the other thread lol

Being used on professional. Dragsters? My uncle says they look like they would do it. Also torspd uses them... And has a 4x4 which is similar to my prerunner

They're old school. Not that they don't work, but imo the URD one will do what you want it to do and it's much better looking and stays up out of the way and won't get caught on or hit anything. And it's just a simpler setup.

They both will work fine and I'm assuming they're both adjustable. I know the URD one is.

Would they both work with a rear sway bar (still need to get that later). What are the adjustments?

As for working to keep the axels flat then they both do the job and will take as much abuse u wanna give it. Its a matter of what u want in looks wise an price. But they will handle more than u can put them thur.

Since you're a TRD-OR truck, I'm assuming you have the 8" elocker 3rd. Check with Gadget to make sure the one URD offers isn't just for the 8.4 3rd. I know BudBuilt has two models.

As soon as I can get my truck to the drive line shop and pay the repair, I'll begin making the calls

I love my Caltracs. They roll and push down on the spring. The more the axle pushes up, the more they push down. I went from bam bam of wheel hop, to just tire squealing. They really don't give you more traction, good tires will do that, but they stop that annoying wheel hop. They are adjustable. The guys over at Calvert are really friendly and helpful. I'm sure the URD ones work just as well and they are better if you are low.

Did it eliminate all axle wrap from a hard launch from a dig?
