    Replacement synchronizers?

Haha, Road trip would be fun. From what I’ve been able to find, looks like I would have to have a wiring harness from an auto. Other thing is, at least for this guy, https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/converting-manual-transmission-to-automatic.424635/ he had issues getting the speedo and...

    Replacement synchronizers?

PreRunner for sure. Anyone know if factory loom in the X has the additional plugs for an auto trans? Know I’ll need an ECM, interior and shifter bits, drive shaft, trans, cooler, support bracket possibly, lines. Because of our tire size, gearing vs rpm is virtually identical even though we have...

    Replacement synchronizers?

I know it will get me kicked off the forum, or shunned into oblivion, but I think I'm going to convert my X to automatic. I haven't fully committed to this idea yet, but if I do, I'll document it, as no one else has done so to date (documented a manual-auto swap on an X-Runner with the factory...

    Replacement synchronizers?

Correct, 2500 for the adapter kit. 1500-2500 for a transmission. Not certain on what a rear end ratio change would run, but it's not something I'd feel comfortable doing myself.

    Replacement synchronizers?

Mine lasted longer than a few months, but no excuse to be having synchro problems after 30k miles. I’d like to do the T56 swap with URD, but its going to take time to get money together for it. Not sure what it costs to have the rear end gears changed to 410 ratio, but I can’t imagine it costing...

    Replacement synchronizers?

Well, 30k miles into my rebuild with new synchronizers old problems are returning (as some of you predicted). It started about a month ago when driving as normal and I got a grind while trying to shift into 4th. I figured it was me, but it did it again a few days later. I changed the fluid out...

    Replacement synchronizers?

Correct, if you're having grinding issues/difficulties getting into specific gear(s), it's likely that your synchros are worn. I believe you need 33369-35060 (X3), 33038-35010, 33037-35050 (X2), 33381-35010 to replace all 7 synchro rings. I would call first and verify these part numbers and...

Any chance someone is still making and selling these stickers? Link is dead.

    Transmission trouble - upgrade?

If you decide to rebuild, I rebuilt mine, replaced the clutch and upgraded the throw out bearing (both URD) all for 1850 dollars. I have most of the part numbers needed listed on this thread. http://www.xr-underground.com/threads/replacement-synchronizers.54339/page-2

    Clutch Thread

I also have the URD sleeve kit and mine has started squeaking. It doesn't bother me, but I was curious if anyone knows if it's going to mess anything up if I ignore it?

blown front shock why now lol.... should I just buy oem shocks for now ???

I'm really liking my QA1's in the rear... wish there was a more affordable option from them for the front... Front Bilsteins are noticeably stiffer than the factory rear ones.
