I've been running 6k the first year i got my truck and switched to 8k because they have a blue tint to them. So far, so good no tickets for Hids. I have been driving cops a couple of times. As long as you are not intentionally aiming you headlights in direct view of the persons mirrors then i would just run the 8k. Different brands vary on how blue the 8k are so do the research a see what other peoples 8k brands are to see what you like. If you want to go a real stock lookin Hid kit Racefactory 6k is the whitest you can get no blue tint just plain white. Keep on Modin....

Sup dood, I installed the headers myself with a friends help, its a pretty easy install and can be done in about 2 - 3 hours
