Finally got around to using the Cerakote headlight restoration kit.
Dont be afraid of the sand paper! Usually best to wet sand. If they are bad I use 1500, 3000, 5000. If they arent bad. You can start with 3000- gearhead899

I always just polish with a cutting compound and a orbital high speed buffer on customers cars. If they are really bad i wet sand first. They come out looking like new but since the clear coat is gone, they usually start hazing again in a couple months- gearhead899

Yeah, Toyota had a recall where they actually cut a decent chunk off the bottom of the gas pedal. I think it had to do with the possibility of the pedal getting caught on the floor mat- gearhead899

Anyone still around?
Still here. Wish their was more traffic on here. Nothing new on the 2011. The 2006 got a tonneau cover a month or so ago and also a doug thorley y pipe a week or 2 ago. Probly the last catless y-pipe in existence- gearhead899
