    Bump Steer Kits

I checked with them today to confirm the spacers for the steering rack are included in the kit. by lifting the rack up and moving the tie rod down you can bring the level of the tie rod arm closer to the stock angle reducing bump steer.

    Bump Steer Kits

I am currently running this and the install for me was done by the developers of the kit. but it is fairly straightforward. I had a wheel alignment done at goodyear as I also changed the front shocks to vikings tripple adjustables, with the 650 rate springs. which was a change from the qa1's...

From what I have been told the taper/angle of the steering knuckle is not a perfect match for the taper/angle of the pinto or the GM adapters most people end up drilling out the knuckle to make it match perfectly. I just had the adapters machined up to be a perfect match, that way I don't have...

    Coilover group buy

I have finally placed my order, I would love to buy the rears also but the rear qa1's aren't having as much of an issue I don't think. I might be turning around in a few weeks and buying them also. :)

after ordering these parts and getting them all together and ready to go on the truck, there seems to be to much play, and the taper on the adapter is close but not perfect. I have reached out to a company that makes specific bump steer kits for drift cars. I have an appointment tomorrow to have...

Can I mix two rear qa1 single adjustable shocks with the two front triple adjustable SS viking coil overs or should all four be the same? Thanks Caleb

    wrecked my xr...

ahh fair enough, yeah I am not sure i can deal with less turning radius than we already have. makes for more tire wear on the rear tires to get the truck to turn in tight quaters. ;)

    wrecked my xr...

Why did you put a tundra rack in your X. Mine is clunking when I turn the wheel, but you can only notice it when you are lying under the truck and someone is wiggling the steering wheel. So I am getting ready to replace the steering rack again.

That is great advise thanks so much for that, I will just torque it down to spec, to not over tighten it.

    Bump Steer Kit Ideas...

I was checking out the facebook group for people that have installed this and noticed that the new tie-rod adapters don't use a castle nut to allow a split pin, should I drill the nut and adapter to put one it? Surely that is not safe with out.

    Bump Steer Kit Ideas...

That is great news I, never moved forward because of that, and just last night ordered this -> GM tie-rod adapter. as the truck atm is influenced by the road too much and, the roads around here are under massive construction and have been for years. I am thinking of doing the lower control arm...
