yeah, i never install it but it works on 2005+ models. there's a thread on here where someone uses this same kit on their X. if i remember correctly that person drilled a new hole to better clear the strut on one side. yeah it should fit. i had the rubber mats in my xrunner and when i sold it i transferred it to my 3gen. only real issue is the rear mats are made for the double cab so they dont fit so well in a access cab replied- lamia2super

you need to make a kit for the 2016 tacoma already...guys over at expedition overland and other overlander guys will probably jump on it quick. all that extra weight that gets added is going to need more power to push it- lamia2super

The Colorado does moreless the same MPG and has more HP. I think Toyota could have given us 300hp and/or cut down on weight so we see better mpgs- lamia2super
