Driving down on a crazy freeway on a construction zone with no emergency shoulders, my check engine light came on. The truck dropped speed will not accelerate for 10sec and people tailgating me like crazy. After the 10sec, the truck can only go 45mph on wot. The error code I got was p2121. I would not recommend this device on any vehicle.

Safe to say this is competitor to the Sprint Booster?

Your truck kicked into limp mode. The code is consistent with a throttle position error. I know it took a while for the Sprint Booster to be available for the manual transmission. It was originally just for autos. I wonder if there's a similar issue with the Apex unit. Like Mark asked, how long had it been installed?

I had it for 3 months now. It acts weird 1 month after I had it. I thought it was just me. Just found out that if I have it turned on and drive 10 min straight it will start to act crazy.

Check your wiring connections. Might have a poor connection somewhere.
