are 22's too big for an xr?

im lovin that lid...


so, im thinking id better just go with my first plan, which were 20's.

i need the gas mileage to be decent and dont want the performance to suffer.

Plenty of 19's available. Tires are not cheap though.

lotta guys run 19s but the tires are pricier than 20s... that was one factor for me in choosing between 19 or 20 (i went with 20)

another thing to consider is style of wheel... my 20s look "small" to me at times because of the step lip and mesh design i guess...
