im thinking that 22's will put it toward that 'donk' side of the spectrum but, im really not sure. i was wanting to go 20's, but i ran across one of my fave wheels w/tires for a decent price. anyone here running 22's?

they are forgestar f14's...not sure what the offsets are.

22x9 with 265-35-22 on the fronts and 22x10 with 315-35-22 on the rears.

22's look good on the xrunners. 4 of my friends are running 22's and 2 of them are djm 3/4

My opinion is yeah 22s are too big for an XR but I don't like big wheels in general. If you like em though go for it

It all just depends on what you like. I personally like the look. But I'm sure there are a handful of guys on here that will tell you otherwise. Those are some nice looking wheels though. :top:

They are very nice wheels. When I had my g8 those forgestar's were real popular with those guys. They were one of my favorites

I think 22s are not too big in the looks department. ... but I think they are too big in the performance department

im running 22s in the rear. and to be honest i find its harder on the brakes and suspension with such a big rim. eventually im going back down to 20s but the 22s do fill the wheel well nice. my opinion 20s max.

22 will fill up the wheel well nice but it's more for looks as your performance will go down a bit. The wheels do look nice so I would consider them but ultimately 20 would be the biggest wheel I would go with.

at least those are nice 22's...

they'll fit with the right tires and offsets, but they're a bit too big for me. there's a couple guys down here with nice xr's with 22's tho, i gotta say. but for me, not my thing.

I think 22's are alittle on the big side. I have 20's and love the look. I'd rather have 18's for the performance side of things. but 20's are a happy medium for me.

22's will make your shit so incredibly slow. as long as you can get over that part they look decent.

they dont look as bad as i thought they would.

wonder how the gas mileage would suffer since i started doing serious highway miles?
