BG44K

I bought 4 cans of BG44K off of Ebay with 2 free cans of the MOA. I've done a lot of reading about how most fuel injection / system cleaners are a waste but they said that BG44k and Techron are the only real ones that work.

I'm just a little over 100 miles away from my 5000 mile maintenance and decided to dump a can in before I change my oil and rotate my tires.

What do you guys think? Waste of money or does it help? I'm just doing whatever I can to keep the X Running for a long time.

44k and MOA are good products. MOA goes in after the oil change though:top:

BG44K is a good product, however I don't think you really need to use the product if you use a top-tier gasoline such as Chevron or Shell. Chevron with Techron is a really good gasoline to use and doesn't leave engine deposits. If you tend to use a low-tier gasoline, then either 44K or Chevron Techron Concentrate Plus is good. I personally just used a bottle of BG 44K since my truck just passed 40K miles, but that's just because I wanted to add to my routine maintenance along with oil, transmission and differential fluid changes.

i like it... the trick is running to near empty. then pour in the 44k... fill up with gas and enjoy
