To make a long story short I want a set of tires that run 2" bigger in diameter than factory (29" in lieu of 27"). I know there are a lot of folks on here that run bigger wheels like 20's and are probably pushing a larger tire. Does anyone have first hand experience running a larger tire (like 255/55/R18) and can provide feedback on whether they rub while driving hard? I can't go to a smaller diameter wheel because of my BBK.

So you have a 28.7" tire that rubs whereas the other fellow had a 29" tire that didn't? Is your offset/backspacing different than the factory wheel?
