Can my truck be called an X-Runner?

My truck started life as a 2014 Tacoma Pre-Runner TRD Sport Access Cab V6 automatic. Bought it for a daily driver in heavy traffic to work but decided I wanted a truck that Toyota didn't make... an Automatic V6 White X-Runner. So I guess I just have to build it. I bought a 2006 X-Runner for a donor truck. Had the frame checked out at a frame shop. Then striped the X-Runner frame down to be powder coated. Rebuilt the X-Runner rolling chassis. Then, did a rolling chassis swap with my Pre-Runner. The pulled off front fenders, bed side fenders, front bumper and rear bumper off the truck and bought all new X-Runner parts to complete the X-Runner look. So now I have a V6 Automatic Factory Super White Tacoma that looks like an X-Runner but have I done enough to be called an X-Runner? Please give any and all feedback.

It looks like a Pre-runner wearing a really nice X-runner hat...
JUST KIDDING - the truck looks great and after all the work you've done, you deserve to call it what you want! It really does look awesome - it would be easy to pass as an "X" - you even got the 5 spoke wheels on there!
CONGRATULATIONS on the build and thank you for sharing!

Very nice work. Super clean. What made you want the auto? I think 99% of the reason I love driving mine is because it's a 6 speed.

Lots of work and looks great! Id still call it an X-Runner clone or tribute because it wasnt born an X-Runner and the vin wont show its an X. But it doesnt change the fact that its an awesome truck

Duuuude this is so awesome. I wouldn't even guess that the truck went through all of that. Hats off to you sir, truck looks sick!

That was my main focus on doing this transformation... to make it be as original and stock as possible.. so it looks like it came from Toyota. I was really challenged on this when I was doing the factory X-Runner ground effects because of all the holes in the Pre-Runner front fenders and bed side fenders... so I had to buy all 4 new fenders. This was not in the plans. After, spending around $4k for all the new X-Runner ground effect parts and mounting. Really hurt the budget bad, adding another $4K for the 4 new fenders and having them painted. Plus, painting all the new factory ground effects. Not cheap but I really love the truck. Thank you guys for all the feedback.

Now hope and pray someone doesn’t hit you in a traffic accident (you said heavy traffi) and the truck is a total loss!
I had this happen to me once before. Hours & hours & hours down the drain …
Also note there is absolutely no way I would give up a manual trans.

Yeah, I am worried about that too because there are some crazy drivers out there. I did add some excess insurance to the truck but it will still break my heart with all this work I have put in the last 2 years. I love manuals too. I bought this truck just as a daily driver because my baby is an 05 STi but I was getting real tired of shifting in this Dallas, Texas heavy traffic and just really wanted a daily automatic. I couldn't find the truck I liked for a daily... so I built it.
