Unbelievably this thread is ten years old and still helping members!
I was on the verge of taking everything apart and installing new bushings. After I read this thread I went out to the truck and turned the shaft 90 degrees and sprayed a liberal amount of silicone at on the contact point... like magic the noise is gone and now 100% quiet. Thanks OP and xr-underground!

You folks have done it again for me! I've been enduring the squeaking clutch for 10 years now on my SWB '07, and the Forum has (I hope) solved it. 2 solutions in 2 days ain't bad. You guys rock!
