How to upgrade your diff

Just finished the install... wasnt bad as i thought... it definitely reminds me of my 240sx back when i installed a 2way. Thanks Nashman for the write up!

Never again will i do this on a driveway hahaha.. i think it would be easier using a lift.
every thing is easyer on a lift lol did my clutch in 1 hour and change and did my throw out bearing on the ground in 3 hours

mine is set to 7-5 thou of back lash

Well as an update mine is still going good the diff is very smooth and tire chirp is gone on 285's and works like it should with no coating and fully broken in. I might re shim it to check but I am kinda lazy and it's still working just fine lol and I am running full sys now with 1/4 bottle of additive as they get older you can run less additive to change how your diff reacts.

I ended up blowing the side gear at the stripe a while back so I upgraded to a tru trac and 3.73 gears. I did shim it way too tight though

Shitty kinda odd you killed the spider gears got pics. Mine is holding strong at 400 wheel on 285s and gets beaten on
