From what I understand, URD will be you best bet. Other than that, TRD or the AFE, same thing.

Edit: On second thought, a forced air intake would be best. S/C Maybe...

URD and TRD are the absolute best options. With TRD, dealership won't hassle you about it with your warranty. With URD, they may give you some hassle, but they can't actually void your warranty. THey have to prove the URD intake caused a problem, and then they don't have to cover whatever your problem may be, if one arises. I have the URD and have had warranty work done on the truck, and never had any hassle about it.

EDIT: AFe is the company who makes the TRD intake. The only difference between the two is a small scoop on the bottom of the AFe filter box, and of course the color and labeling.

urd would be best because of it's location.

But then again, it's an intake so gains arent going to be noticeable

IF you have the ivan ironman edition taoma, you already have the supercharger, and you need the TRD intake and filter. it will give you the best gains all-around

i asked the local toyota stealership about all these editions, and how come i never see any of them here in central mississippi. they quickly atated that most of these editions that come out are set to certain districts. each districs is made up of a few different states, i am in gulf states districs, there is mississippi, arkansas, alabama, tennessee, and louisiana i believe. i kept seeing an XSP tacoma online and wanted one BAD but found out it was only available in another district. they are most commonly seen in florida and georgia and the carolinas. whatever districs that is, is the only one that gets them.

these ivan ironman stewart edition tacomas are basically the TRD off-road edition, with a different pattern cloth seat, and have the TRD S/C from the factory. well i guess not all of them have it, but it was the main thing that made this option special. i think these trucks are only available on the west coast.

hmm thanks for the help

but i think i decided that its worth it just to save up for trd cai and trd s/c someday that way no problem with warranty or trade in value someday.

and i dont think 300 dollars is worth it for about 5hp.

so i think ill just get my 3inch lift ; )
