I was also looking into doing this on my truck did it take lots of hours to mode it to fit are tailgate.

It took a lot longer to make the one in this thread, at the time I could have made another one in 6 hours or so. It’s hard to say for sure because I made it over a period of several weeks in my off time. I had to fabricate a mounting bracket and paint a coat of epoxy primer on it then cut the Chevrolet spoiler to fit, then bond it to the bracket. Next the ends need fitted to the gate. I made this spoiler because it was going on Johns X and I traded it for the NASCaR wing that he made
